Are MOEA sneakers as resistant as leather sneakers?
CTC agency’s resistance tests results for GrapesSkin™ are without appeal. With a Tensile Strength of over 35 N/5cm, it ensure it can handle pulling forces effortlessly and with a Tear Strength exceeding 125 N/5cm, these sneakers resist tearing, promising longevity. The Flexometries test showcases their ability to endure over 100,000 cycles of bending, ensuring flexibility in every step.
Will I be paying import taxes / duties?
No additional tax is payable for orders placed within the European Union. For the rest of the world and overseas, taxes may apply depending on customs policies. Shipments to countries outside the European Union may incur additional import, customs or customs duties that are beyond our control.
What are biomaterials?
Biomaterials are an innovative alternative to leather. They are made from a technological process that transforms plant waste into a wearable material with leather-like properties. This is a real breakthrough because biomaterials have a much lower environmental impact than leather and are of course cruelty-free.
Why are biomaterials better for the planet?
According to Sami agency, our bio-based materials are on average 89% less polluting (89% less carbon) than leather. Furthermore, we only use materials that are PETA vegan approved, which means no animals were armed in the development and production process.
Which size should I choose ?
Our shoes generally fit in a standard way, but if you find yourself between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size. This will allow you to feel perfectly comfortable and add an insole if needed. For more information, I invite you to visit our size chart !

🌽 CornSkin is a sustainable material made in Europe from non-edible corn, consisting of 43% corn polyols, 31% polyurethane (PU), and 26% certified viscose, providing a bio-based content of 69%.
🍍 PineappleSkin is made from waste fibers of pineapple leaves and contains 72% pineapple fibers.
These materials emit 97% less CO2 than leather:
We have tested our products and vegan materials for over a year and they are as robust and durable as leather. Biomaterials have passed the flexibility and abrasion resistance tests and have shown their robustness with more than 50.000 cycles (same as leather).

MoEa sneakers are entirely handcrafted in Guimarães, in the north of Portugal.
Most of our materials (biomaterials, soles, laces, insoles, lining, packaging, etc.) are made in Italy, Portugal or Spain.
We are fighting to keep a local production in the European Union.

Yes, your payment is secure with us. We use industry-standard encryption protocols to protect your personal and financial information during transactions.
Additionally, we partner with trusted payment processors who comply with the highest security standards. This means that your payment information is handled with the utmost care and security.
You have 30 days after receiving your order to make a return, with three possible options:
1. Exchange (Available only in the EU)- Exchange possible for a different size or model.
- Based on the original product value (before discount).
- If the new item is more expensive, the difference must be paid.
- If the new item is cheaper, the difference will be refunded.
- Shipping fees are the same as for a regular order (free for pickup points).
- The exchange will only be shipped after receiving and verifying the returned product(s) at our warehouse.
2. Store Credit (Available only in the EU)
- A store credit equivalent to the value of the returned product (before discount), valid on moea.io.
- Issued only after the returned item(s) have been shipped.
3. Refund-
Refund issued after receiving and verifying the condition of the return.
- Return is free with a prepaid label sent by email.
- Return fees may still apply (see conditions).
We can only take back pairs in their original condition and packaging. In short, only try on your pair indoors, taking a few steps to make sure you've got the right size and style, so you can decide whether or not to take them for a ride!
For orders placed outside the European Union, only returns for a refund are possible.
At this time, we do not offer exchanges or Store Credit for orders placed outside the European Union.
