🌽 CornSkin is a sustainable material made in Europe from non-edible corn, consisting of 46% corn polyols, 22% polyurethane (PU), and 32% organic cotton, providing a bio-based content of 78%.
🍍 PineappleSkin is made from waste fibers of pineapple leaves and contains 72% pineapple fibers.
These materials emit 97% less CO2 than leather:
- CornSkin emissions: 1.7 kg of CO2 per m²
- PineappleSkin emissions: 1.67 kg of CO2 per m²
- Leather emissions: 60.1 kg of CO2 per m²

We have tested our products and vegan materials for over a year and they are as robust and durable as leather. Biomaterials have passed the flexibility and abrasion resistance tests and have shown their robustness with more than 50.000 cycles (same as leather).

MoEa sneakers are entirely handcrafted in Guimarães, in the north of Portugal.
Most of our materials (biomaterials, soles, laces, insoles, lining, packaging, etc.) are made in Italy, Portugal or Spain.
We are fighting to keep a local production in the European Union.
Our shoes generally fit in a standard way, but if you find yourself between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size. This will allow you to feel perfectly comfortable and add an insole if needed. For more information, I invite you to visit our size chart!
