CANYON

Inspired by the raw beauty of the layered rocks.
Some shapes can’t be drawn. They’re formed by time, pressure, erosion, by nature doing what it does best.
Canyon is our new silhouette, inspired by the slow transformation of rock into curves. Each panel flows into the next like eroded rock, forming rounded lines and natural layers.
The result is a silhouette that feels carved over time, both sculptural and minimalist.

"Layering is not a visual effect, it’s a method."
For this launch, we collaborated with French sculptor Arthi Pauly Bertonneau, rising artist at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Working with clay, raw materials, and reclaimed objects, their practice explores how matter carries memory through cycles of use and reuse.
For MOEA, Arthi created Canyon, a monumental clay sculpture shaped by erosion, where raw textures and reused elements converge.
A pair of Canyon sneakers is embedded within the mass, as if revealed from the material itself, capturing a dialogue between transformation and design

Asymmetrical toe cap
Nature doesn’t do symmetry. Neither do we. The Canyon toe cap breaks the rules with organic, uneven lines inspired by natural formations.

Hand-stitched details
No two stitches land the same. A deliberate irregularity that brings depth, texture, and a human touch to the Canyon.

Made from biomaterials
Made from plants and natural waste. A different way to think about what sneakers can be.
