SeaweedSkin is an innovative material made in Spain from renewable marine resources. Containing 53% seaweed, it makes it over 50% bio-based and offers a sustainable alternative to conventional synthetic materials.

SeaWeedskin COMPONENTS
SeaweedSkin is composed of 53% seaweed, 24% recycled polyamide, and 23% polyurethane. The seaweed provides a natural base, combined with the Polyurethane it creates a binder. Recycled polyamide gives flexibility and strength. Together, these elements create a high-performance bio-material made from bio-based and recycled inputs.

SeaWeedSkin PRODUCTION STAGES
The process begins with dried seaweed biomass, which is transformed into fiber and blended with polyurethane. There are then bonded with recycled polyamide textile backing. The result is a unique bio-material that celebrates marine flora and reduces resource consumption by more than 50%.
