Achille was deep into an Attack on Titan binge when it hit him like a Colossal Titan breaching the wall: “Are we the Titans of this industry? Destroying ecosystems like they’re our playground?”
The question clung to him, haunting every quiet moment. He couldn’t unsee the parallels: the sneaker industry razing forests for leather, poisoning rivers with chemicals, and hiding it all behind glossy ad campaigns. Achille called Benoit immediately, mid-episode, and poured out his existential crisis.
The two stayed up until dawn, debating how they could flip the script. By sunrise, they made a pact: no cruelty, no destruction, no shortcuts. If Titans could be stopped, why couldn’t an industry built on greed and waste? And so, MoEa was born—not just as a sneaker brand but as a rebellion. A rebellion against waste, greenwashing, and the idea that progress must come at a cost.
